As a first party Art Director, I've developed a new IP and led the execution of the first game in this universe:
- Analyzed the market to define and predict the trends among our target audience
- Developed unique visual style and created Art Bibles for all disciplines
- Supervised Concept artists (internal & external) to create Key Arts
- Actively collaborated with Game Designers to find visuals solution to gameplay’s problems
- Collaborated with programmers to find creative ways of tackling the platform’s limitations and improve graphics
- Communicated the vision to the team
- Daily reviewed Character, Levels, UI, VFX, and Animation for quality and visual consistency
- Interpreted playtester’s feedbacks and initiated course correction while maintaining realistic scope
Fangs Dash has been only released in China so far.
Despite the lack of marketing coverage, the game was praised for its graphics with an average score of 4,6/5 on local stores.
