Red Steel 2 (2009, Wii)

Developed and published by Ubisoft.

As 3D Artist in the Cinematic team (a small task force within the whole game team), we were responsible for all in-game cinematics.
This project was super fun! Getting the spectacular feelings of AAA cutscenes on the weaker Wii console was a challenge, but we were never out of tricks!

What I did as a 3D Artist:
- Designed and produced all 3D vehicles featured in the game's cinematic
- Produced a large-scale version of the city of Caldera to be used in cinematics

Payne's custom motorbike is a mashup of different vehicles. The "cell-shaded chrome" shader was really interesting to work with.

The oil truck was inspired by the movie Duel.

The massive version of the city of Caldera, as used in cinematics, was put together from game assets and concept arts.
